In 1965/1966 Ferrari changed to the configuration which used two full flow filters. The early arrangement called for two Fram PH 2804 spin-on filters. Later when the “Daytonas” were introduced Fram introduced the PH 2804-1 filters with the internal stand pipe which would keep the filter full of oil to prevent “Dry Starts” caused by the oil draining back into the sump while a car was not driven.
